Job Title: Data Cabling Project Manager
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum + Company Car + Benefits
Location: Birmingham (Regional coverage required)

The Role
We are looking for a commercially-minded Data Cabling Project Manager to join our Birmingham-based team. You will lead the delivery of large-scale structured cabling and ICT infrastructure projects across the Midlands and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be a "safe pair of hands" who can manage the technical nuances of fibre and copper installations while maintaining the rigour of professional project management frameworks. You will own the project lifecycle—from the first site survey to the final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery: Lead structured cabling projects (Cat6a, Cat7, Fibre) through design, installation, and testing phases.
Financial Management: Full accountability for project budgets (P&L), ensuring profitability through efficient resource allocation and procurement.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the face of the company for Tier 1 contractors and end-user clients.
Team Leadership: Manage a mix of internal engineers and specialist sub-contractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Compliance: Ensure all sites are H&S compliant, maintaining up-to-date RAMS and quality assurance documentation.
Candidate Requirements
Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Data Cabling, Telecommunications, or Integrated Building Systems.
Qualifications: We value professional certification. You should hold a recognized Project Management qualification such as CTPM, Prince2, APM, or BICSI (RCDD/TPM).
Surveying Skills: Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
Logistics: Full UK Driving License (this role includes a company car for regional site visits).
