Job Title: Cloud Native Engineer (SC Cleared)
Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Fully Remote (UK Based)
Contract Length: 6 Months (Initial, with high likelihood of extension)
Security Requirement: Must hold active SC Clearance at the time of application.
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Native Engineer to join a mission-critical project focused on high-scale cloud automation and sovereign cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust, automated deployment pipelines and managing containerised environments within a secure AWS ecosystem.
This is a 100% home-based role, offering the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale engineering challenges where security and automation are at the forefront of the mission.
Technical Stack & Requirements
Kubernetes (K8s): Expert-level experience in managing, scaling, and securing K8s clusters (EKS preferred).
AWS: Deep architectural knowledge of AWS services, specifically focusing on security, networking, and compute.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform for building and maintaining modular, reusable infrastructure.
Containerisation: Extensive experience with Docker for image creation, hardening, and orchestration.
CI/CD & Automation: Building end-to-end automated pipelines to ensure "Zero-Touch" deployments in secure environments.
Security: A "Security-First" mindset, with experience in implementing DevSecOps principles (e.g., container scanning, IAM policy hardening).
Qualifications & Experience
Must hold valid, active SC Clearance (used within the last 12 months).
Proven track record of delivering Cloud Native solutions in government, defence, or highly regulated sectors.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
The Interview Process

Technical Deep Dive: A 60-minute session with the Lead Engineer/Architect to discuss specific architectural scenarios and problem-solving.
No take-home tests or coding exercises are required for SC-cleared professionals of this calibre.
