SC Cleared Data Cabling Engineers – National MOD / RAF Rollout (18-Month Framework)
Location: Nationwide (UK-wide travel across MOD & RAF sites)
Duration: 18-Month Framework
Rate: £200 – £220 per day (dependent on experience) + Expenses, Accommodation, and Fuel
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing mobilisation
The Opportunity
Rack Native – Cab to Cloud Global Talent Specialists are supporting a major national defence infrastructure rollout and are actively seeking SC Cleared Data Cabling Engineers to join a long-term programme of works across multiple MOD and RAF sites.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a secure, high-profile project delivering critical network infrastructure across the UK.
Scope of Works
Installation of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a)
Fibre optic installation, splicing & termination (single-mode & multi-mode)
Installation of containment systems (tray, basket, trunking, conduit)
Cabinet builds, patch panel installation & dressing
Testing & certification (Fluke / OTDR preferred)
Working to MOD / defence site standards
Following strict compliance, documentation and QA processes
Requirements
Active SC Clearance (ESSENTIAL)
Proven experience in copper & fibre installations
Experience working in MOD, RAF or secure environments (highly desirable)
Knowledge of JSP Standards (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work nationwide and travel as required
Certifications Required
ECS Card (Essential)
IPAF (Essential)
CNCI / Fibre certifications (desirable)
SSSTS / SMSTS (advantageous for senior engineers)
