Data Cabling Engineer (Gold Card)
Location: Central London (Liverpool Street)
Rate: £250 per day
Project: Large-scale Commercial Build (1st & 2nd Fix)
Rack Native are currently recruiting for highly experienced Data Cabling Engineers for an immediate start on a high-profile commercial project in Central London. We are looking for professionals who take pride in neat containment and precision termination.
Core Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold one of the following valid ECS Gold Cards:
Advanced Datacomms Specialist
CNCI / CNIT
Datacomms Technician
Essential Qualifications & Tickets
IPAF: (3a & 3b) for working at height.
PASMA: For mobile access towers.
Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of 1st and 2nd fix data installations (Cat6, Cat6a, and Fibre).
Tools: Full residency tool kit and standard 5-point PPE.
Key Responsibilities
1st Fix: Installation of cable management systems including basket, tray, and trunking.
2nd Fix: Pulling, dressing, and terminating Cat6/6a and Fibre Optic cabling.
Testing: Using Fluke testers (or similar) to ensure all drops meet industry standards.
Professionalism: Maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
