Electrician
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £27 per hour + Overtime
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician for a significant commercial project located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. This is a 6-month contract role offering competitive rates and the opportunity for consistent overtime.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for executing high-quality electrical installations within a large-scale commercial environment. Work includes:
First Fix: Installation of containment (conduit, trunking, tray, and basket), pulling cables, and wiring.
Second Fix: Installation of sockets, switches, lighting systems, and distribution boards.
Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and in line with current UK wiring regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
JIB/ECS Gold Card: (Essential)
Qualifications: Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th Edition (BS 7671).
Experience: Proven track record in commercial projects (offices, retail, or mixed-use developments).
Tools & PPE: Your own full tool kit and standard 5-point PPE.
Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines.
Benefits
